Here is a link to a article from the bcc about the stone wall riots which have just had their 40th anniversary. Also includes a podcast documentary with a interview with someone who was at the riots. Interesting part of gay rights history and part of how we got where we are today

Still think parts of both are relevant even in this day and age especially with the resurgence of the anti gay christian right.
