Hey girls!
I was wondering if there are any other religious, or culturaly religious/spiritual lesbians out there in adelaide?

I've heard adelaide is the city of churches, but I was wondering, how many gay people actually believe/practise their religions.

I'm Jewish, and I would say modern orthodox, so yeh, just wondering how everyone else sees the issue of religion, and how they came to marry their sexuality and their spirituality!

Would love to know what you think!
xx

Hey Zimmo!
I'm spiritualist, not religious, so I don't personally go to any church, but I do know that there are a few gay-friendly religious organisations in Adelaide - you might be able to find some places... there is a website called gaychurch.com (I think, you should be able to google it) and they list different places around the world :)

Are you serious about freedom of religion?

Would you like to see the end of the persecution of the UDV, SD, et al in the US?

Do you think indigenous people should be able to practice in the US as they have done for thousands of years?

If you are a US citizen, and want to do a little something, PM me...

Singh is not a religion; I think you mean "Sikh". And do add aethism to that list, I am one. You also missed out Buddhism and native Chinese religions, those two are the big ones not mentioned.

Id say that to some extent, credibility does depend on age. A religion thats only been around for fifty years is something that people are going to know has just been invented i.e. Scientology and probably have less credibility. And something having been around longer would have an effect... kinda like scientific theories almost, how theyll be more credible the longer theyve been around and not proven wrong.

I'm not religious but I do believe in a higher power. Its not a being but more an energy that is present in everything, living or dead.
