trans services in Adelaide

Hi everyone,

My name's Phoenix, I'm a PhD researcher. I'm trans and am looking at the way trans people get treated in the mental health system.

I've been trying to find out the name, details etc of any Gender Unit/Clinic in South Australia...just wondering if anyone knows them?

I dont know of any specific clinics or groups, but i wouldnt be surprised if there is a couple of groups try checking the blaze community section or contacting GLCS.

there is a trans club in adelaide called the Carousel Club they have a booth every year at picnic in the park. I have a couple of friends there and will try to get some information for you in the next few days. But that said Blaze and also the Feast board should be able to help you out.

Adelaide does have a gender unit, which i believe is still an extention of the unit in Monash. There are also a couple of groups for trans people, such as caroussel and bfriend (the trans project is still running).
