Try luvaware on south rd, they seem to be fairly friendly and have a range of heels and stuff.

Another place worth checking out (though they're shut at the moment) is prospect lingerie, really tg friendly, sells breast forms and everything. How did you go with luvaware in the end?

Most of the larger chains are pretty friendly...DJ's etc are good if you are comfortable saying the items are for you for costmetics (and have $ lol)
I've never had any issues with any of the larger chains, even shopping in male mode, but it also helps to know your rights, some of the stores will even let you try on clothing.
Harbourtown can be good, but its usually not
I've heard from other girls that Innerware (wholesale lingerie ) are good to deal with but I haven't personally dealt with them
I think Lucy Clothing might be another, though again I haven't dealt with them.
if you are looking for wigs and have money Bonnie wigs in the adelaide arcade are TG friendly.
As has been said though, when you have the money, most prejudices disappear, profit normally trumps rudeness.
Depends what you are looking for feel free to PM me if you are still looking for stuff

What a gold-mine of information this is!
Well, let me throw my inexperienced 2 bob here.
1. Budget clothing and lingerie.
I found Target to be great. They have quite a lot of cheap clothes, and they have large sizes, which in my case is GREAT!
Once, I got 2 summer dresses (SO HARD FOR ME, UGH!!!) for $5 each on end of season sale!
I find so many great clothes I can not wear :(
Plus, they do not care, its just a checkout transaction though sometimes you can see the checkout chick blush, lol.
2. Cosmetics.
Starter kits are great. You can get a whole suitcase of crappy cosmetics on sales for $15-$30 dollars (Coles had one recently).
Sure its crappy, but lets be honest 'ladies', if you are starting out, you just smear the stuff on your face anyway ;)
When you ready to buy the better stuff, go to budget pharmacies. Mornings are best as hardly anyone is there.
There is Pharmacy at Stepney Avenues shopping centre, I have found a very helpful and friendly sales assistant (Shoulder long blonde hair) V.Male mode buying pink lippy etc lol.
3. EBay
Naturally... your milage may vary.
Its great for clipon earrings (if you are not pierced).
Also larger shoe sizes and lingerie. But be VERY clear about your size and color/design.
It once took me 3 months to get the corset I wanted :(
Most stuff will arrive in 2-3 weeks.
You can also pick up some more exotic stuff like satin-uber lacey stuff thats clearly fetish (sissy).
Lot of sellers will actually keyword crossdress/sissy so you can search on those.
4. Second hand stores
I once picked up a whole fistful of beautiful clipons for $1 each!
Sizes are a *****, and be weary some are run by religious people and may be tricky to shop there.
But on the other hand, you can pick up some beautiful bargains, especially the more out there (cequined, ballgown type) since normal women do not wear that trash :)
