Girl Feast. Who's been? What's it like?

I've never been but I'm planning to go on July 16th with my housemate.

I've never heard of this before...sounds interesting. Family are planning to come over for a week around that time so i'm a bit iffy about getting out. Is it only one night? Will let you know closer to date

Girl Feast occurs on the 3rd Friday of every month which is a pity, it should happen every weekend

Well i'll def be able to make it another month...why haven't i heard of it before? Is it new? Sounds like you might make it a regular thing :)

its at mojo west right? i've never been either but i've seen some of the photos, looks like fun!

Yeah its at mojo west. It seems to be relatively new, I know its been happening since before New Years as I was meant to go then but got horribly ill on champagne. i'd like to make it a regular thing, it was be awesome.

hey- im new to the site but Girl Feast is usually a pretty good night. its an all female dj line up/bar staff and security- the only guys around are usually a couple of bouncers at the door- but they arent allowed inside.
g-licious are another group who put on women only events

I've never heard of G-licious so I'm googling it. Sounds interesting.

I just checked with my housemate and the plan is still on. So if you're out at Girl Feast and you see a really tall gothic looking girl possibly wearing massive boots, that's not me, that's my housemate, I'll be the red-head with her.

This is the email I recieved from the Girl Feast mailing list. Friday's Girl Feast was absolutely amazing. I urge all girls to go at least once.

"Our July GIRL FEAST went off reaching a capacity crowd at Mojo’s. From the moment the doors opened, girls were greeted by the smooth ambience of DJ Temptress. Followed by DJ Pennydrops whose uplifting set really got the party started. Once our girls got in the party mood there was no stopping them and by the time DJ JoSH arrived, the dance floor was already buzzing with excitement. DJ JoSH then did a massive 4 ½ hour set as the girls just couldn’t get enough of her and her grooves! There was no way we could close the doors on our girls at 3am, so JoSH rocked on! Babe, you’re a legend!"

The next one is on Friday the 20th of August, starts at 8pm.

Yep Girl Feast is definately a good night out - and thats coming from a lezzer brought up on the London Gay Scene.

Its a really nice atmostphere, everyine is chatty and friendly, good music, good bar staff, good venue.

I will be bringing all my london mates here when then visit.

As Isa had announced Girl Feast is this Friday! the 20th of August.

I'm working till 10pm so I'll be there a bit later than that. My housemate will be joining me.

I'm really looking forward to it and hopefully catch up with a few of you.

I've just check the website again and there is no Girl Feast in September, which makes me really sad.
So I think a trip to Mars is in order to fill the gap.
