Hey guys and girls, as in our last thread we stated we are a volunteer ran organisation. After over 35 years of helping the Adelaide community, we are the ones who need help.
We desperately need funding and support to continue our great work. We would love for people to contact us, through Queer Adelaide, on how to donate money, and our callers and volunteers would love it even more if we could get a corporate grant from a local business.
We have already answered hundreds of calls from around the adelaide metro and country areas this year, and we expect to receive thousands more throughout the year. But to do so, we need your help Adelaide. We used to get state funding but it has been pulled and put into "other projects", this is not good enough. what we used to get wasnt a substantial amount as we are 100% volunteer based, but it still kept us going this long.
So, please, if you or someone you know, is able to donate to GLCS, we would very much appreciate it.
