Would like to get a group together to head out to the Mars Bar. Who is interested? If there are enough people (fingers crossed) i vote we meet somewhere first or wear a specific colour so we can find each other. Any ideas? Comments? What days are best?

Mars Bar is an awesome idea.

Friday nights are really quite from what I remember. Saturday nights is the best because they have the drag show on at 2am and it is always amazing. They have a new routine which I'd like to see.

Unfortunately, I work on Sunday mornings so any night out on a Saturday needs to be planned a good month or so in advance so I can get annaul leave for the Sunday.

One thing about Mars that annoys me is that sraight people seem to view it as a place to act stupid and silly and they don't seem to realise that Mars is to us what every other pub and nightclub is to straight people, a place to hang out with friends, drink and have a good night. There's also a fair number of girls who make you think they're gay but they're only pretending for the night to have a bit of fun.

Other than that, Mars is a great place to go and the whole colour thing or somehting like it is a really really good idea. I went to Mars one Saturday with my best mate and ended up losing her in the crowd. Took a taxi back to hers coz I had the keys and she rocked up 10 minutes later with a guy in tow.

Count me in.

Maybe we can do a Christmas in July thing and all go in Santa Hats :) So are we thinking Friday or Saturday? Friday's are probably best for me...

There is also Roller Derby happening soon, i'm keen to go!

Me and my friends ended up at Mars last Sat night to catch the drag show and to finish up celebrating my birthday. Funniest thing happened, I ran into my manager from work. He was kinda shocked that he was caught at Mars but then he realised that I was there too. It was my housemate's first time at Mars and she loves the place.
