Big hello and g'day my proud south aussies!! :)
I am popping my head in to check what's happening in the Adelaide Community. I returned to Adelaide a few years ago after spending too much time in Victoria (yes, I was having too much fun).
Only to discover I stopped living and withdraw myself back into the closet.. will lets make it my first new years resoultion to get out and be proud !!
I work the normal 60hr week in the corporate world, drag my heels in a suit day in and day out to pease my bosses..
Enough I say.. time to start to making me self happy again (I know thats not proper queens english, but bugger her, I am a queen too)..
OK.... whats happening in our wonderful (cough) city.. I know from first hand experience in the past this can be a rather sleepy town at the best of times and only wake a couple times a year to feast and film festivals.. but surely there is more going on out there..
I was reading the forums and noted someone was trying to get a book club together.. did this ever become.. if so, would love the details??
And is there any mixed social groups on the northern side of town that has a strong membership base..
Would love to hear from the 46 active members on this forum and the other 100 or so sleepy members.. to actually get out from our PCs and bring a community group together.. If any one has contacts, please let us all know..
Now, thats enough of my dripple for now.. I what to hear from everyone.. so get typing..
I look forward to reading your replys..
Happy 2010 and take care of yourselfs..
