I am a journalist. I am currently trying to find out more information about a story I read in The Advertiser about a man whose sperm was used to impregnate 30 lesbians in Adelaide, 10 years ago. Here is a link to the story. http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,24465265-5006301,00.html
I wanted to see if this story is indeed true. If it is I would be very thankful if I could speak to someone involved (even anonymously). I would also like to speak to lesbian couples that have tried to conceive, or have conceived through donor insemination, or anyone that has had experience with unregulated sperm donation.
My feature piece is about the emotional rollercoaster that lesbian couples undergo when they try and have a baby and some of the unexpected consequences. I would also talk about how laws in South Australia, make it even more difficult for homosexual couples to have children.
I understand that this is a highly sensitive topic. I would appreciate any information, I am completely new to the subject and am grateful for your insight.
Please send me a message,
Marina
